Joyce B. Amy, 70, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Easton Hospital.

Joyce was an operator for the former Bell Telephone Company, Easton, for many years. She also worked as a school crossing guard in Phillipsburg for twenty years.

Born March 9, 1937 in Easton, she was a daughter of Helen M. Vought of Lopatcong Township and the late Fred W. Miller.

She graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1955.

Joyce and her husband, Richard E. Amy, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary March 30th.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard and his wife Stephanie of Sweet Valley, Pa.; a daughter, Sandra Burgio of Wilson Borough; a brother, Fred J. Miller and his wife Joann of Phillipsburg; a sisters, Linda Geisberger of Phillipsburg; three grandsons, David and Sean Burgio and Justin Amy and a granddaughter, Kelsey Amy.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Condolences may be offered by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
