Thomas C. Armbruster, 55, of Easton, died Sunday, November 9, 2003 in Phillipsburg.

He was a security guard for Advance Associates in Easton.

Born January 31, 1948 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Carl and Anna E. Hagerty Armbruster.

Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was of the Lutheran faith and had attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include a brother, Jeffrey A. of Phillipsburg; a sister, Carla Matviak and her husband Greg, residing on a sailboat in the West Indies and two nephews, Ivan and Alex Matviak.

Cremation was private. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, in the Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements. Online condolence may be submitted at www.noto-wynkoop.com.
