Gordon C. Balliet, Sr., 48, of Reading, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Monday, February 14, 2000 in his home.

He was a truck driver for the City of Reading.

Born August 23, 1951 in Fountain Hill, Pa., he is the son of Caroline T. Pruzinsky Balliet of Phillipsburg and the late Gordon P. Balliet.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Gordon C., Jr., of Phillipsburg and a daughter, Kristal Balliet of Northampton, Pa.; a brother Dennis of Bath and a sister Terry Trach of Phillipsburg.

Private cremation and interment of the cremated remains will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours or services. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will accept memorial contributions, sent to them in care of the funeral home.
