Dorothy Mary Beck, 76, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, July 6, 1997 in Warren Hospital.

She was a cook at the Spring Garden Childrens Home in Easton until 1991. She previously worked as a cook at the former Garden Nursing Home, Phillipsburg.

Born December 9, 1920 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Harrison S., Sr. and Claire Antoinette Ryan Shull.

She was a former member of the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg.

She was also a member of the Easton Moose Lodge and was a past secretary for the Howell School P.T.A. in Phillipsburg.

Her husband, the late Harry Martin Beck died in 1968.

She is survived by two sons; Jerry Grube and Randy Beck, both of Phillipsburg; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother, Harrison Jr., died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
