Maria K. Behringer, 85, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, August 7, 1996 in Warren Hospital.

Born September 12, 1910 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef Anton and Christine Huegel.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her and her husband, Ferdinand S., observed their sixty second (62nd) wedding anniversary last September 25.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Linda M. at home and Dina, wife of Heinz Emil Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany; two granddaughters, Barbara and Christine Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany and a daughter-in-law, Sulana B. A son Frederick J. died May 14, 1980.

Services will be private and burial will be in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, Filmore St., Phillipsburg. There will be no calling hours. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
