Jean C. Berger, 55, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, October 27, 1998 in Phillipsburg when she was struck by an automobile on Heckman Street near her home.

Born November 30, 1942 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the last Charles and Emma Vito.

She is survived by a son, Charles of Gate City, Virginia; four daughters, Donna M. Hufnagle and Stephanie Lynn Berger, both of Gate City, Virginia, Dorrie A. Scott of Phillipsburg and Kimberly Berger at home; one sister, Phyllis Statler of Palmer Twp.; a brother Butch Vito of Pennsylvania and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
