Angelina Bianca

Angelina Bianca, 88 of Mount Zion, West Virginia, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, January 3, 1997 in Roane General Hospital in Spencer, West Virginia. She lived in West Virginia for the past eleven years.

She was a retired machine operator, last working for the Stern and Stern Silk Mill in Easton.

Born February 3, 1908 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Nicodemo and Maria Bisolo Pugliese.

She was a former member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg until she moved to WV, where she then attended the Barnes Run Community Church of Mt. Zion in Mt. Zion, WV.

Her husband, the late Salvatore Bianca died March 24, 1986.

She is survived by one daughter, Fay Coon of Mt. Zion, WV; three brothers, Samuel Pugliese of Wyomissing, PA and Joseph and Nicholas J., both of Easton; one sister, Victoria M. Krosincky of Phillipsburg; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. One son, Nicholas S. Bianca and two sisters, Frances Rodeo and Millie Pugliese and one brother, Anthony all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 10:15 a.m. Saturday, January 11 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated 10:45 a.m. Saturday in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
