Pearl M. Butler, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, July 19, 1998 in her home. She was a sewing machine operator for over sixteen years for the former Easton Trouser Co., Easton. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Tommaso and Rosa Palmisano Zammatore. She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, and was also a member is its Over-Fifties Club. She was also a member of the Bloomsbury Golden Age Club and the Belvidere Friendship Club. She and her husband, Paul H. Butler, observed their forty-eighth wedding anniversary April 16th. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth F. Butler, Phillipsburg; a brother, George R. Zammatore of Phillipsburg; a sister, Lucy Todaro of Easton; two grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was pre-deceased by a sister Nettie Gerbino. Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Entombment will take place in The Holy Apostle's Mausoleum, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The family requests memorial to the Karen Ann Quinlan Center of Hope Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860 or to the Mission in Antofagasta, Chile, care of the Sisters of St. Francis, 395 Bridle Path Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017. |
