Marianna Brescia, 80, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, March 28, 1998 in her home.

She was a seamstress with the Phoenix Clothing Mills in Allentown for many years.

Born in Petrizza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Onofrio and Rosina Consentina Marascio.

She is survived by three daughters, Mariapia Gauna, with whom she lived, Lena Ubezio and Ornella Oderico, both of Milano, Italy; two brothers, Bernardo Marascio of Whittier, CA and Joseph Marascio of Easton and two grandchildren. A daughter, Lucionia and two brothers, Franko and Rocco all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Sts., Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
