Catherine E. Brown, 90, of Lower Nazareth Township, formerly of Lopatcong Township, died Monday, February 22, 2010, in Gracedale.

Born January 11, 1920 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Becker Rossnagle.

Catherine was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband of fifty-eight years, the late Maynard S. Brown, died February 22, 2002.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas M. Sr. and his wife, Janice, of Lower Nazareth Twp, and James A. and his wife Lisa of Dublin, OH; two daughters, Margaret D'Alessandro and her husband Jack, of Washington Twp, Pa., and Patricia Francett and her husband Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Thomas M, Jr.; five brothers, Harvey, William, John, Alfred and Frank and a sister, Mary Bachman.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 p.m. and again on Thursday morning, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. in the church, 426 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
