Florence L. Brown, 80, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, November 28, 2004 in her home.

Born February 24, 1924 in Rockaway, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Beck Reighn.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Easton.

Her husband of nearly fifty years, the late Roy J. Brown, Jr., died in July of 1992.

Florence is survived by four sons, Kenneth S. and his wife Susan of Palmer Twp., Roy J. III and Barry M., both of Phillipsburg and Brian K. and his wife Janet of Palmerton, Pa.; two daughters, Judy A. Of Allentown, Pa. and Donna C. Stefano and her husband Stephen of Phillipsburg; two brothers Charles of Nazareth and William of Williams Twp., twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren and Linda Lore, whom was special to Florence as she was her care-giver during her illness. She was pre-deceased by a brother, The Rev. Raymond K. Reighn and two sisters, Evelyn VanSyckle and Arlene Kelso.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
