I would like to say something about my grandmother who was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

She was a giving person who taught us many things – respect, togetherness, tradition and most of all, love.

One tradition we will never forget was the preparation for holidays. She would make all her specialities – homemade pasta, bread, cakes and cookies. She was famous for her cakes, but most of all pizza.

We all have our own families and homes now, but we still carry on Grammy's traditions.

She was our teacher, the person who would protect us from Mom and Dad.

Grammy became everyone's grandmother, from our friends down to the nurses at the hospital.

We will always miss her. She will be our special star in the heavens to always look up to for guidance and support.
