Louise J. Colatriano

Louise J. Colatriano, age 89 years, 5 months and 22 days, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, August 31, 1999 in her home.

Born Wednesday, March 9, 1910 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Annuncata and Pietro Calise.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband, the late Constantino Colatriano, Sr., died December 7, 1956.

She is survived by a son, Constantino, Jr. of Washington, NJ; three daughters, Rosalie Romeo of Phillipsburg, Carmella Bartolotta of Naperville, Ill and Santa Ragote of West Severna Park, MD; a brother, Frank Calise of Ocala, Fla; a sister, Jenny Castellano of Manhattan, NY; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Joseph, Vincent and Jack and two sisters, Anna R. Confalone and Rose I. Iannelli all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. The Rev. Richard M. Rusk will be the celebrant for the Mass. Frank Ragote will read the Old Testament reading and Nancy Shober will read the New Testament reading. Marie Bartolotta will be the soloist. The gifts will be presented by great-grandchildren, Megan, Jennifer, Krista and Courtney Colson. A memorial tribute will be read by granddaughter, Louise Pleiss. The pallbearers will be Anthony Colson, Stephen Pleiss, Frank Romeo, Michael Romeo and Ralph LaBar.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
