Rose Collura, 87, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, August 11, 1998 in Warren Hospital.

She previously worked for various silk mills in the Phillipsburg-Easton area.

Born January 3, 1911 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Santo and Antonina Todaro Farina.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Warren 398.

He husband Joseph died October 9, 1987.

She is survived by three sons, Bernard T. and Samuel J., both of Phillipsburg and Joseph L. of Belvidere; a sister Lena Contuzzi of Nazareth; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Six brothers, Thomas, Peter, George, Samuel, Charles and Louis and a sister, Josephine all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held Thursday, 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contribution to an Alzheimer or Diabetes charity of one's choice.
