Lena G. Contuzzi

Lena G. Contuzzi, 84, of Bethlehem Twp., PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, February 20, 1999 in Gracedale, where she was a resident for the past year.

Born February 12, 1915 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Santo and Antonina Todaro Farina.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

She was involved with the Norwescap Retired Seniors Volunteer Program of Warren County. She had formerly been a teachers aide at Freeman School in Phillipsburg and waitress at the John Dolak American Legion Post in Alpha, and was an avid bingo player.

Her Husband, the late Marcello Contuzzi died October 2, 1968.

She is survvived by a daughter, Jo Anne, wife of Samuel Snyder of Bethlehem Twp.; two sons, Frank of Belle Mead, NJ and Mark of Bridgewater, NJ, six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Two sisters, Rose Collura and Josephine Farina and six brothers, Samuel, Charles, Louis, George, Peter and Thomas all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 am Wednesday, from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St, Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
