Anthony J. Casciole,
Sr.
Anthony J. Casciole, Sr., 76,
of Phillipsburg, died Friday, September 24, 2004 in SCCI Hospital,
Wilson Borough.
He worked for the State of New
Jersey for 25 years, retiring in 1995 as the Superintendent of
Grounds at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton.
Born March 1, 1928 in Wilson
Borough, he was a son of the late Leonard, Sr., and Mary Muretta
Casciole.
He was a member of St. Philip
and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
He was an Army corporal in the
Korean War, serving with the 28th Signal Corp., 28th Infantry
Division.
He and his wife, the former Sophia
Mackera observed their 53rd wedding anniversary April 4th.
In addition to his wife, he is
survived by a son, Anthony Jr., of Phillipsburg; a daughter,
Diane Dalrymple of White Twp., N.J.; three brothers, Nicholas
of Palmer Twp., Richard of Forks Twp., and Louis of Wilson Borough
and a sister, Mary Rebman of Easton; two grandsons, Ryan and
Adam Casciole. Two brothers, Leonard Jr., and James both died
earlier.
Funeral services will begin 9:00
a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main
St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30
a.m. in the Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation
will be held Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral
home. Entombment will be in Holy Apostle's Mausoleum, Greenwich
