Abraham Cicale

Abraham Cicale, 87, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 14, 2004 in the East Orange Veterans Hospital, East Orange, NJ.

He last worked was a delivery driver for Wilson Products in Easton for more than 15 years and previously worked as a dyer for the former Sanco Piece Dye Works in Phillipsburg.

Born August 31, 1916 in Martins Creek, he was a son of the late John and Rose Triani Cicale.

He was an veteran of the Army Air Corp.

He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

His wife, the former Betty Gillett died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Barry J. of Hamilton Twp., N.J.; two daughters, Janet Fitzpatrick of Concord Calif. and Virginia Cicale of Phillipsburg; three sisters, Ida Principato and Laura Molnar, both of Wilson Borough and Elizabeth DelBacco of Bangor, Pa. and four grandchildren. Six brothers, Salvatore, Louis, Gerry, Frank, Albert and Dominic and two sisters, Mary Galati and Pauline Manieri both died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Twp. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
