Natale G. "Nat" DeMonti, 77, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, July 30, 2000 in Warren Hospital. He worked in the Turbo Division of Ingersoll-Rand Co., for 43 years before retiring as an expediter in 1984. Born December 25, 1922 in Martins Creek, Pa, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovina Coccia DeMonti He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, where he was also a member of the Holy Name Society and the Over Fifties Club. He was also an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 474, Phillipsburg. He was a member of the Order of Fleas in Easton and the Modicana Beneficial Circle. He was a member of the Class of 1941 of Easton High School. He and his wife, the former Josephine Tona observed their 53rd wedding anniversary September 1. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony, Sr., of Stafford, VA, Michael of Phillipsburg; Two daughters, Theresa Kinnaman of Bangor, Pa and Mariann Reddington of Bethlehem Twp., Pa.; four sisters, Ilda DiFelice and Mary DeMonte, both of Martins Creek, Pa., Sister Maria DeMonti, O.P. Dominican Order, Our Lady of Assumption Parish, Latham, NY and Dora Lushis of Bethlehem Twp., Pa.; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Jr., Angela, Joseph and Catherine Jane DeMonti, Gerald and Martin Kinnaman, John Fortunato and Sean Reddington and two great grandchildren, Taylor and Trevor DeMonti. Two sisters, Lena and Armena died earlier. Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Wednesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
