Lena Frinzi

Lena Frinzi, 82, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 18, 1995 in the Care Center of Brakeley, Lopatcong Township, N.J.

She was a retired garment worker for the former A&H Sportswear, Easton, for many years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker's Union.

Born May 5, 1912 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Maria (Turdo) Frinzi.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include three brothers, Charles J. and Samuel A., both of Lopatcong Township, and Michael J. of Phillipsburg and several nieces and nephews. A sister Nina and a brother Thomas J. both died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 10:15 a.m. Saturday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions to the church in her name.
