James Otis Flowers, Sr.

James Otis Flowers, Sr., 63, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, March 11, 1993 in Warren Hospital.

He had been employed by the Lehigh Foundry, Inc., Easton, as a grinder until 1970. He then worked at the Hunterdon State School in Clinton, NJ, before retiring in 1984.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include three sons, James O. Jr., of Phillipsburg, David W. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Robert L. of Easton; seven daughters, Rita A., Laura A. Mason, Joan M. and Jean M., all of Phillipsburg, Debra of San Jose, Calif., Gloria A. of Whitehall and Barbara Andrews of Easton; three step-sons, Carey J. Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., Mark S. Williams of Allentown and John D. Williams of Phillipsburg; one brother Adam of Fayetteville, N.C. and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Phillipsburg Cemetery, Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
