Laura Williams Flowers 70, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, October 30, 2004 in her home with her family at her side. She was a former nurses aide and activity director for both Eastwood Rehabilitation Center in Wilson Borough and Praxis in Easton. She was also a former direct care provider for Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton. Born May 11, 1934 in Washington, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Harris Williams. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Phillipsburg. Laura is survived by four sons, Carey J. Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., John D. Williams of Easton, Mark S. Williams of Coplay, Pa. and Robert L. of Phillipsburg; five daughters, Rita A., Laura A. Mason and Jean M., all of Phillipsburg, Gloria A. of Allentown and Joan M. of Easton; a brother, Love Williams of Phillipsburg; four sisters, Geraldine Lillard and Lucille Brown, both of Washington, Pa. and Elizabeth Thornton and Amelia Gibson, both of Easton; 24 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, James O., Jr. and David W., two sisters, Gertrude Williams and Pearl Thornton and two brothers, Charles and Robert "Reavy" Williams. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Grace Baptist Church, 330 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
