Charles J. Ganguzza, 67, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, August 24, 1996 in Easton Hospital.
He was retired from the Heavy and General Laborer's Union, Local 472 and 172. He also worked as a cook at Tom's Lunch for many years.
Born September 19, 1928, he was the son of the late Antonio and Angelina Noto Ganguzza.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church and the Class of 1946 of Phillipsburg High School.
He served as Private First Class in the Army during World War Two.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph of Allentown and Angelo of Phillipsburg; three sisters, Mary at home, Josephine Meilinger of Waddell, Arizona and Ann Kelly of Riverside, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:45 AM Tuesday in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 So. Main St., Phillipsburg. Entombment will be in Holy Apostle's Mausoleum located in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
