John H. Gallenger, 58, of Phillipsburg, died September 1, 2004 in Warren Hospital. He was a distribution foreman for Aqua New Jersey, Phillipsburg for 38 years. Born August 31, 1946 in Easton, he was a son of the late John F. and Lola Ward Gallenger. He was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. He was a social member of Phillipsburg Fire Company No 1 and was a life member of the Order of Fleas and Citizens Hose Co,. He and his wife, the former Marie Frinzi observed their 38th wedding anniversary May 21. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda Kish and her husband David and Debra Lee and her husband Timothy, both of Lopatcong Twp.; a sister Sandra Thomas of Clover, Virginia and two grandchildren, Matthew and Timothy Kish. Funeral services will begin 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 a.m. in the church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., N.J. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Online condolences may be submitted at www.noto-wynkoop.com.
