Ernesto Garcia, 79, of Wilson Borough, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000 in Easton Hospital.

He was a retired machine operator for Oxford Textiles in Oxford, NJ.

Born November 7, 1920 in Cienfuegos, Cuba, he was the son of the late Angel and Maria Garcia.

He attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Easton.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marina Mena; two sons, Ernest R. of Wilson Boro and Eduardo F. of Philadelphia; a brother, Eugenio of Miami, Fla. and three grandchildren.

Private cremation will take place at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
