Rose T. Gilbert, 57, of Phillipsburg, died suddenly in her home on Tuesday, April 11, 2006.

Born in July 30, 1948 in Dover, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Verna Compano.

She graduated from Warren County Community College and formerly worked as a Home Health Aid for the Visiting Homemakers of Warren County.

Rose and her husband, Barry W. Gilbert celebrated their twenty-sixth wedding anniversary August 3rd.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Brian Beam of Phillipsburg and Darryl Beam of Pennsylvania; five daughters, Shanna Beam of Allentown, Pa., Heather Beam and Brandi Gilbert, both of Phillipsburg, Tara Gilbert of Effort, Pa. and Krista Eaton and her husband Matthew of Bath, Pa.; a brother, Dominick Compano of Pennsylvania and 15 grandchildren. A grandchild died earlier.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. The family will begin receiving visitors at Noon. Burial of her cremated remains will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Plainfield Twp., Pa.
