Ada L. Grabinsky

Ada LaRue Grabinsky, 71, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.

She was a waitress for many years working in the Manville, NJ area.

Born Saturday, January 14, 1928 in Bedford County, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Cleo Ellen Baker Teeter.

She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manville and attended St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg.

Her husband, the late Edward Grabinsky died in March of 1966.

She is survived by five sons, Donald Teeter, Alvin "Butch", Larry and Jeffrey Grabinsky, all of Phillipsburg and Russell Grabinsky of Skillman, NJ; two daughters, Freda Schibel of Culleoka, Tennessee and Ramona Ford of Phillipsburg; a brother Clarence Teeter of Lilly, Pa and two sisters, Edna McIntosh and Gladys Miller both of Lilly, Pa.; nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Oren and Charles Teeter and three sisters, Bernice Kline, Cleo Arlene McIntosh and Dorothy Teeter all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 So. Main St., Phillipsburg. Rev. Vincent P. Chen will officiate the services. Calling hours will be held Friday (tonight) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 10:30 a.m. till time of services Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
