James P. Graham

James P. Graham, 63, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 in the home of his niece, Donna M. DeBenedetto in Washington Twp., N.J.

He worked most of his life for the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, N.J. where was a child care supervisor.

Born January 11, 1942 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Lewis and Evelyn Pitney Graham.

James was very knowledgeable in world history, especially European and British history and challenged himself daily with the New York Times Crossword Puzzles.

In addition to his niece Donna, and many other nieces and nephews, he is survived by a sister Minnie Lewis of Lews, Delaware. He was pre-deceased by brothers Marvin, Leonard, William and Jack and sisters, Shirley Sleight, Viola Butler, Verna Search, Carolyn Fulper and Doris Antonacci.

Private cremation will take place and there will be no services. There will be a gathering of remembrance in the O'Donnell Apartments Community Room, 235 South Main St., Phillipsburg on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
