Clarence Hoadley, 68, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, August 26, 2000 in Warren Hospital. He worked in the kitchens at the Peke Inn and the Schaffer House and was a trimmer for the former Sonoco Products, all in Phillipsburg. Born April 30, 1932 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Maybelle Cowell Hoadley. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Greenwich Twp. He enjoyed playing the guitar, harmonica and the fiddle. He was a social member of the Huntingdon Fire Dept., Pohatcong Twp. He is survived by five brothers, Donald , Robert, Joseph and Raymond, all of Phillipsburg and Lawrence of Easton and a sister, Catherine Armbruster of Phillipsburg. Two brothers, Sterling and Charles and two sisters, Genevieve Young and Edna May all died earlier. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Rev. Gerald Kramer, pastor of the church will officiate the services. Burial will take place in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Greenwich Twp. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home.
