Raymond R. Hoadley, 85, of Phillipsburg, died Friday, December 21, 2007 in Warren Hospital.

He was a store room clerk on the drill floor at Ingersoll Rand for nearly forty-two years, retiring in 1984.

Born March 20, 1922 in Michigan, he was a son of the late Joseph C., Sr., and Maybelle Cowell Hoadley.

Raymond worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930's.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels.

He is survived by a daughter, Eileen Richline of Phillipsburg; four brothers, Lawrence, Robert, Donald and Joseph and four grandchildren. Three brothers, Sterling, Charles and Clarence and three sisters, Genevieve Young, Catherine Armbruster and Edna Mae Hoadley all died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Greenwich Township.
