Crystal Gayle Hopkins, age 11, of Phillipsburg, died October 20, 1991 in her home.

Crystal was in the fifth grade at Andover-Morris Elementary School in Phillipsburg and was co-captain of the Firthtown Drill Team. She was a member of Church of the Blessed Hope of the Nazarene.

Born Dec. 20, 1979, in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of Doyle Hopkins of Easton and Margaret (Vivian) Hopkins.

In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by three brothers, Allen and Jason Schaffer and John Hopkins all at home; a maternal grandmother, Margaret Vivian of Phillipsburg, and her paternal grandmother, Orvella Hopkins of Piedmont, Mo.

Services for Crystal will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Church of the Blessed Hope of the Nazarene, 42 Mercer St., Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, and one hour before services in the church. There will also be calling hours for students from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., Pa.
