Kendra C. "Kenny" Izak Hower, 36, of Cresco, Monroe County, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, July 31, 1997 in the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.

She was a certified nurses aide in the Stroudsburg area.

Born January 2, 1961 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of John A. and Ruby Thornton Izak of Phillipsburg.

She was of the baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Lony D. and a daughter Chante Frank, both at home; a brother, Barid Thornton of Mt. Bethel; five sisters, Tara White, Sherri Brockel, Dawna Langen, Johnni Reed, all of Easton and Nadine Gray of Jackson, Miss; and her fiancee James Evans, with whom she resided.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
