Jason Patrick Huffman, 25, of Phillipsburg, formerly of Manhattan, NY and Yucca Valley , Calif., died Friday, March 6, 1988 in his home.
Born November 23, 1972 in Palm Springs, Calif, he was the son of Richard Huffman of Colorado Springs and Clairesa Ann Cummins Huffman of Yucca Valley.
He graduated from Yucca Valley High School in 1990 and later attended Manhattan's School of Visual Arts where he earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Advertising.
He was employed as a freelance designer for Spot Design in New York; was assistant to the art director at Random House Publishing and last worked for television's Comedy Central. His interests included writing, acrylic painting, illustration, collage, photography, video, music and film. While in Phillipsburg, he was active with the Riverview Arts Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Crystal Huffman of Yucca Valley; maternal grandparents Donald and Patricia Cummins and paternal grandmother Marylynn Milford-Ginn, all of Yucca Valley; and several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life service will be held in the Living Stream Christian Fellowship Church in Yucca Valley on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Private cremation services were handled by the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Services in Yucca Valley are being handled by Wiefels and Son, Funeral Directors, 57285 Yucca Trail, Yucca Valley.
