Robert J. Johnson, 58, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Saturday , February 6, 1999 in Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, NJ.

He was a former laborer for the Doggett Corp., Lebanon, NJ.

Born December 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha Quackenbuh Johnson, Sr.

He is survived by a step-sister, Arabella Nichols of Ocean City, MD, and many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, William, Ronald, John, Sr. and Charles Jr. all died earlier.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 1999 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Burial will be in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Netcong, NJ. Calling hours will be from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
