Anna Jiorle, 88, of Lopatcong Twp., died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 in Warren Hospital.

Born October 20, 1915 in Easton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lurtz Schoenek.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband, the late Arthur N. Jiorle died April 7, 1991.

She is survived by a son, A. David Jiorle of Lopatcong Twp.; a daughter, Joann Lutte of Walnutport, Pa.; two sisters, Elizabeth McKenna of Somerset, N.J. and Theresa Rubin of Phillipsburg; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. A son, Arthur J. and a brother Joseph P. both died earlier.

Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home.
