Anne P. Kozare, 84, of South Plainfield, NJ, formerly of Alpha, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, in J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison, NJ.

She was the secretary to the first principal of St. Philip and St. James School in Phillipsburg many years ago.

Born July 28, 1914 in Alpha, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Horvath Kozare.

She is survived by three sisters, Agnes Drosdick of Pohatcong Twp, Julia Conover of Napersville, Ill and Mary Helene Curtis of Bath. A brother, William J. Kozare and a sister, Ethel Bartha died earlier.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 9:45 a.m. Saturday in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. There will be no calling hours. Private cremation will be held at the convenience of the family and the cremated remains will be buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Alpha, NJ.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Joseph H. Firth Youth Center, 108 Anderson St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
