Sheldon M. Kelton, 69, of Lopatcong Township, died Friday, March 6, 2009 in Warren Hospital.

He was a former vice president and merchandiser for Two Guys Department Stores, East Hanover, NJ.

Born July 6, 1939 in Newark, NJ, he was a son of the late Alex Kelton and Mildred Gottdank Kelton Poempner.

Sheldon and his wife, the former Carol R. Gould, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary October 8th.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Alan J. of Kearny, NJ; a daughter, Laurie S. and her husband, Scott, and their two children, Miranda L. and Matthew J. of Phillipsburg. A sister, Diane Maida died earlier.

A visitation period will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. www.noto-wynkoop.com.
