Yolanda I. Lawler
Yolanda Italia Lawler, 81, of
Clymer Village, Lopatcong Twp., died Tuesday, November 23, 2004
in Warren Hospital.
She was an assembler, formerly
working at Magnetic Windings, Palmer Twp. and New York Transformer,
Alpha. She had also been a clerk at the former 5&10 in Phillipsburg.
Born February 8, 1923 in Chester,
Pa., she was a daughter of the late Paul and Theresa Paglia Castiglia.
She was a member of St. Philip
and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
She enjoyed playing bingo and
was a member of both the Singles Club and the Friendly Club of
Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late James
K. Lawler, Sr., died in 1981.
Survivors include a son, Dennis
M. and his wife Susan A. of Alpha; three sisters, Jessie Bercaw
of Harmony Twp., Mildred Y. Squarcia of Wilson Borough and Fior
Vernon of Elverson, Pa. and many nieces and nephews. She was
pre-deceased by two brothers, Paul R. and Eugene R. and three
sisters, Flora Castiglia, Marie Unger and Josephine Lisinichia.
Services will begin 9:00 a.m.
Monday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St.,
Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30
a.m. Monday in the church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp. Visitation
will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral
