Faust Marzuoli
Faust Marzuoli, 94, of the Care
Center of Lopatcong, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Monday, March
3, 1997 in Warren Hospital where he was a patient for the past
three weeks.
He was a rigger for the Turbo
Division of Ingersoll-Rand Company, Phillipsburg, for 38 years,
retiring in 1967.
Born March 17, 1902 in Città
Sant'Angelo, Province of Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, he was the
son of the late Gaetano and Loretta Di Tizio Marzuoli.
He was a member of St. Philip
and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
He was a member of the United
Steel Workers Union, Local 5503, Phillipsburg.
He was an quote pitcher for the
Ingersoll-Rand and Pioneer Teams.
He was a charter member of the
Italian American Pleasure Club, Phillipsburg and a life member
of both the Young Men Italian American Club, Phillipsburg and
the Easton Moose. He was also involved in the contruction of
the Lincoln Fire House in Phillipsburg.
His wife, the former Mary Di Giacomo died March 17, 1996.
He is survived by two sons Thomas
and Robert J., both of Phillipsburg,
and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Fred, Tony and
Philip and one sister, Carmine Castellano all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held
9:00 a.m. Friday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South
Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South
Main St., Phillipsburg. Entombment will be in Holy Apostle's
Mausoleum, Greenwich Twp., NJ. A calling hour will be held from
8:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Friday.
