Mary Marzuoli, 91, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, March 17, 1996 in the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Twp., where she was a guest for three years. She had worked as a knitter for nine years for the former Chipman Knitting Mills in West Easton. Born July 11, 1904 in Città Sant'Angelo, Province of Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Adaline Di Giacomo. She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. She was also a former member of the Lincoln Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Italian American Pleasure Club Ladies Auxiliary, both located in Phillipsburg. She and her husband, Faust, also a resident at the Lopatcong Care Center, observed their 68th wedding anniversary last September 4th. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two sons, Thomas and Robert J., both of Phillipsburg and one sister, Edith Roth of Easton. One son Maurice, one brother, Pat and one sister Violet, all died earlier. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:45 AM in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church 426 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Entombment will be in the Holy Apostle's Mausoleum in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Twp.
