Anna Jane Mecca, 82, of Warren Haven, Mansfield Twp., NJ, formerly of Madison and Phillipsburg, NJ, died Monday, May 26, 1997 in Warren Haven.
Born July 26, 1914 in Madison, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Viola Esposito Palma.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, and was a former member of St. Vincent Martyr Catholic Church, Madison, NJ.
Her husband, Daniel A. Mecca died April 9, 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel G. of Phillipsburg and Anthony J. of Tuscon, AZ; two daughters, Elizabeth Marie DelMauro of Derby, CT and Margaret Ann Pascucci of Rochester, NY; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Five brothers, Anthony, Gabriel, Pat, Louis and Sebasitian and three sisters, Louise DiStefano, Margaret DiBiasse and Rose all died earlier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Vincent Martyr Catholic Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, (Morris County) NJ. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, also in Madison. Calling hours will be held 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg.
