Franklin Manazer
Franklin Manazer, 68, of Easton,
died Thursday, April 9, 2009 in his home.
Frank began working as a grocer in Easton and Bloomsbury and
also drove a delivery truck for the former Easton Fruit Company.
He then became a corrections officer for the State of New Jersey,
working at the Annandale facility. He retired in 1984 and pursued
his passion for real estate development in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
He also was the owner and operator of the Easton Bus Terminal
from 1986 to 2000.
Born January 30, 1941 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late
Jack and Nora Shaker Manazer.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Easton. He was a
seaman in the Navy.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle LeGath of Dunnellon,
Florida, Melissa Hess and Darlene Reilly, both of Easton; two
sons, Frank Fioca of Dagsboro, Delaware and Dennis Fioca, Conyers,
Georgia; four brothers, Albert of Easton, Joseph of Burlington,
NJ, Charles of Norristown, Pa and Jack of Trinidad; two sisters,
Lorraine Pugliese of Easton and Irene Bonfigilio of Lansdale;
a step-son, Richard Snyder of Easton and two step-daughters,
Susan Glen and Jayne Snyder, both of Easton; nine grandchildren
and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by a stepson, Jay Snyder.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Constance Snyder
Manazer.
Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the church, 330 Ferry
Street, Easton. Visitation be held from 5:00 p.m. until time
of services Tuesday in the church. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home,
289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Easton Cemetery.
