Dorothy J. Meglic, 86, of Winter Haven, Fla., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in Winter Haven.

She was a daughter of the late Roy and Jane Carpenter Shipe.

She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Fla.

Her husband of sixty-three years, John P. Meglic, Sr., died in 1999.

Survivors include two son, John P. Jr., and his wife, Melissa Cox of Winter Haven; George P. and his wife Jody of Williams Twp.; a daughter, Linda Koenig and her husband Mark of Nanty Glo, Pa; and grandchildren Kevin, Christopher, Jennifer, Joann and John Meglic and Todd Koening and Jennifer Koenig; step-grandchildren, Shea Boncher, Adam, Cory and Taylor Gary and a sister, Carol Imboden. A sister, Ethel died earlier.

Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, 426 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Ss. Philip and James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
