Regina Mereo, 81, of Bethlehem formerly of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in Fountain Hill, Pa.

Born July 2, 1921 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carmello and Concetta (Frinzi) Frinzi.

She was a former member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband of forty-seven years, Emanuel J. Mereo, Sr. died June 27, 2000.

Survivors include a son, Emanuel J., Jr., and his wife Cyndi of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three daughters, Donna and her husband Peter Six and Deborah and her husband Corey Campbell, both of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Kathleen and her husband Gyle Rodriguez of Bethlehem, Pa.; ten grandchildren, Mark and Andrea Albrough, Steven and Stephanie Longenbach, Gabriel and William Rodriguez, Adam and Adrain Campbell and Shea and Joey Mereo; two brothers, Anthony Frinzi and his wife Norma of Phillipsburg, John and his wife Theresa of Florida and a sister, Grace Romeo of Saylorsburg, Pa. A brother, Salvatore and a sister Pearl both died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. in Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Greenwich Township, N.J. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
