Sarah M. "Sally" Merlo, 89, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 in her home.

Born May 31, 1916 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Carmello and Josephine Glorioso Merlo.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include brothers, Nicholas and Joseph, both of Lopatcong Twp.; sisters, Joan Sciascia of Lopatcong Twp. and Seraphina Lo Balbo of Phillipsburg and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers John and Carmen and sisters, Mary Chillot and Josephine Marotta.
