John A. Mugavero, 74, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in his home.

John was a sales associate and clerk for the former Carl B. Williams Co. Electronics, South Main St., Phillipsburg. He retired in 1997.

Born June 7, 1932 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late John and Sebastina Frinzi Mugavero.

He was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

John was the last surviving member of his family, having been predeceased by three brothers, Salvatore A. "Sam", Charles P. and Anthony and two sisters, Angelina Mugavero and LiBoria "Lee" D'Angelo.

Funeral services will begin 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9:45 a.m. in the church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held from 8:15 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
