Charlotte B. French-Olah, 78, of Bethlehem Township, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Monday, June 2, 2003 in Old Orchard Health Services in Bethlehem Twp. Charlotte was a clerk at the Surprise Store in Easton for thirty-one years and then worked for Catholic Charities in Phillipsburg for fifteen years as a social services worker. Born January 25, 1925 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Bertha Fritz Foulk. She was a member of the Catholic faith, the Heckman House Social Club, Phillipsburg, and enjoyed playing bingo. Charlotte will be remembered for her love of her family and the special way she cared for others. There was never anything she wouldn't do for someone who needed help. She touched many lives, especially through her work with Catholic Charities. Survivors include three sons, Harry "Chuck" French and his wife Debra of Phillipsburg, Glenn French and his wife Tracee and Joseph Olah and his wife Gina, both of Palmer Twp.; three daughters, Lynda Maloney and her companion Guy of Baytown, Texas, Belinda Callery and her husband Patrick of Phillipsburg and Lisa Picione and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem Twp.; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was looking forward to the birth of another grandchild expected later this month. A brother, Francis Foulk and a sister, Virginia Bare and a grandson, Dennis R. Miller, Jr. all died earlier. Funeral services will begin 9:00 a.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Palmer Twp. Father Scott R. Ardinger will be the celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
