Evelyn V. Palmer, 86, of White Township, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 in the Lopatcong Center.

She was a former clerk at Marshall Field's in Chicago, ILL.

Born November 16, 1915 in Portland Maine, she was the daughter of the late Hans R. and Elizabeth Pearson Pufahl.

She graduated Wright Junior College in Chicago, ILL.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Her husband, Richard S. Palmer died in 1998.

She is survived by a son, Kimberly R. Palmer of Oxford, NJ and two granddaughters. A brother, Albert and a sister Lisa Thulstrup both died earlier.

Private cremation will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours or services. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
