Frances Pretopapa, 80, of Easton, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, June 9, 2001 in PersonaCare at Eastwood in Wilson Borough.

She was a former laborer for Magnetic Windings in Palmer Twp.

Born May 12, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John C. and Mary DelGrosso Parenti.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her husband, the late Lawrence P. Pretopapa, Sr., died May 18, 1981.

She is survived by a son, Lawrence P. Pretopapa Jr., of Easton; a brother, Albert Parenti and a sister, Tristina Lance, both of Bethlehem. Three brothers, Charles, John and Florey and two sisters, Florence Longenour and Mary Bortz all died earlier.

Private cremation and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
