Rosina "Rose" M. Patti, 73, of Macungie, Pa, formerly of Lopatcong Twp., N.J., died Saturday, June 3, 2006 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., PA.

Born December 22, 1932 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna Maria Chiaravolotti Pugliese.

Rose and her husband, John, celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary July 24, 2005.

A 1952 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she worked at the Federal Bake Shop and Easton Dress, both in Easton. She then graduated Empire Beauty School, Easton and was a beautician for several years. She worked at Freddie's in Easton and the Pompey Wig Salon in New Village, N.J. She and her husband owned and operated Jon's Tavern in Wilson Borough, and Giovanni's Italian Market, in Phillipsburg and at the Allentown Farmer's Market. They both retired in 2001.

She was a former member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg and attended St. Ann's Church in Emmaus, Pa.

In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by a daughter, AnnMarie Stobb and her husband Walter "Chip" Stobb II of Macungie, with whom she resided; a son, Jon and his wife Elaine, of Forks Twp.; four granddaughters, Gianna, Gabrielle, Noelle and Terace; a grandson, Michael and many nieces and nephews.

Three brothers, Salvatore, Joseph and Anthony and two sisters, Mary Russo and Ruth Tolotta all died earlier.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, is handling the arrangements.
