Kay L. Pierce, 53, of Easton, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro, Pa.

She was a licensed practical nurse currently working at the Care Center of Lopatcong in Lopatcong Twp., NJ. She previously worked at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg and ManorCare Health Services in Palmer Twp.

Born June 16, 1947 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth M. and Shirley K. Baker Storm.

She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1967 and from the Warren County Technical School's Practical Nursing Program in 1985.

She and husband, David D. Pierce, Sr., observed their 33rd wedding anniversary on December 2.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, David D., Jr. of Phillipsburg and Kenneth of Easton; two brothers, Charles W. Storm of Washington, NJ and John R. of Bath, Pa.; three sisters, Mary Lou Cogan of Phillipsburg, Evelyn M Morris and Ruth Ann Cahill, both of Wilson Boro, Pa. and a granddaughter, Briana.

Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery, Stewartsville. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the funeral arrangements.
